Yavora Petrova
1983 Master - National Academy of Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria

«I am interested in man, human body, personal emotions and states of the spirit and the way the body expresses these emotional states. I feel close to poetry and I have worked a lot in that direction. The connection of my drawing with dance and literature  seems logical. I have worked on music expressing it abstractly in colour and I have turned dance into drawing close to jazz.

The toolsi I use are pencil, dry and oil pastel, acril and oil on canvas. The line is my character, my "finger print". I don't have a single reasonable cause to be an artist, exept for the will to preserve and "save" myself.I want to make intimate art - saturated, professional.»
