Mark KANOVICH was born in Tbilisi in 1969.

Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the State Pedagogical Institute. He was engaged in drawing and painting with the artist Emir Burjanadze. Repatriated in 1992. Studied at the Avni Institute (Tel Aviv). He illustrated several books, including the collection of stories by Grigory Kanovich, “A Cloud Called Lithuania” (2011), published in the IZH Library. M.K.'s works are presented in galleries and private collections in Israel and the USA.

Lives in Rishon LeZion.

“I work in many techniques - sculpture, painting, watercolor, black and white graphics, etching, bas-relief and acrylic, silk-screen printing, gilded wire on a blackboard, jewelry ... It is very important for me that the process of creating an Art work is interesting to me. so I use a variety of materials, techniques and stories. I try not to lose face, to remain recognizable. A great desire to share emotions, dreams, ideas and fantasies with the viewer.»
