Nestor Povarnin

Nestor Povarnin
The basis of Nestor Povarnin's creative concept is the idea of the identity of matter and mind, finite and infinite, object and subject.

"The true essence of things is not the soul and not the body, but the identity of both." The artist shows the modern world through the prism of an erotic connection with nature-mother, in a whimsical and grotesque combination of monstrous forms of mind, overflowing with social problems and information.

The significance of Nestor's creativity lies, first of all, in the fact that he attaches the importance of an independent, constantly transforming object to
nature, and man is understood as an integral part of this development. Nestor considers the search for real opposites and internal contradictions in it, which are the source of its development, to be a necessary condition for the analytical display of nature.
