Aleksander Olszewski

Aleksander Olszewski |Ols|  was born on 27 July, 1944 in Radom, Poland.


He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lódź. He received a diploma in painting from professor Lech Kunka. He is a Professor at the University of Technology and Humanities in Radom, a Former Dean of the Faculty of Arts (2009-2016) , Head of the Department of Digital Media and Photography and a member of the Artistic Board of ZPAP (The Association of Polish Artists and Designers) in Warsaw. He works in the field of painting and computer graphics.


He creates on the basis of his own system called Morphoism. He works in cycles referring to various artistic issues. He has participated in 40 solo exhibitions and over 400 group exhibitions, both domestic and foreign. He is a founder of Academic Art Gallery "Rogatka" in Radom, Editor of a yearly "Arteria" published by the Art Department of the UTH in Radom. He was a receiver of the Order of the President of the Polish Republic in 2011.
