Cláudio da Rocha Paschoal Neto. 1989, Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil.I draw since I was a little kid. Drawing has always been present in my life. It has always been a way for me to synthesize my life, experiences and imagination. In the last 7 years I started to explore oil painting, my new passion and work. I took painting courses with some local artists like Plínio Santos and Roberto Ploeg (Recife), in addition to Bruno Passos (São Paulo). In 2019 I had the opportunity of a 15-day mentorship with the Spanish painter Golucho. I mainly work with oil painting and charcoal/pencil drawing. My themes vary between scenes from my day-to-day routine - as I also work as a farm manager - and spiritual/religious content. I always try to paint something that deeply touches me, especially in my soul, since it is something that moves me deeply. It is a spiritual reading of ordinary things and situations. Also, a fresh view of evangelical scenes.
